Mitel selects PropStar as Global Branded Entertainment Marketing Agency
PropStar is pleased to announce its selection as the global branded entertainment marketing agency for Mitel Networks, a leading provider of Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) software solutions.
PropStar will lead international branded entertainment, product placement and promotional activities for Mitel with filmed entertainment, feature film and television shows.
“In this rapidly evolving media and production environment PropStar has always been in the forefront through dynamic thinking and creativity. Once again, we are excited that Mitel has chosen our team to spearhead this initiative on a global level,” says Nancie Tear, founding partner and co-president. “With our significant experience in the high-tech sector, we truly believe that this expanded partnership will result in high impact brand exposure.
“We are excited about our relationship with PropStar and the opportunities it offers us to continue to build our brand” said Stephen Beamish, vice president of Corporate Marketing and Business Development at Mitel. “PropStar has extensive experience working with telephony and consumer electronics, and an outstanding reputation as a creative leader in branded entertainment.”
PropStar realized early on the potential of brands to be organically integrated into all forms of entertainment, and was one of the pioneers in this space. Its success as an agency has been built upon its continued ability to think outside-the-box when creating partnerships between the very distinct worlds of entertainment and business.
PropStar was founded in 1999 by Nancie Tear, a successful entertainment industry executive previously with The Walt Disney Company and MCA Universal Pictures. It specializes in product placement, branded entertainment and promotional tie-ins with feature films, television shows and music videos. It has a global outreach to all of the production centers and an established network of connections with major production houses. It has developed and executed significant and successful entertainment marketing programs for clients such as Dell, Alienware, Yahoo!, D-Link, Cadbury and Coca-Cola.
